If you purchase a Manhattan Scooter after the 1st of November 2009 your scooter registers for a years Roadside Assist through the National Warranty Company.
 
Roadside Assist is available 24 hours a day 7 days a week.


Benefits and Entitlements

	Minor Roadside Repairs NRA will provide minor breakdown related mechanical repairs where it is possible, safe & practical to do so at the roadside.
	Flat Battery Jump start vehicle.
	Flat Tyre Spare tyre will be fitted providing that the member has a roadworthy spare to fit to the vehicle. Assistance will not be provided for damaged wheels, fitting of a wheel to a rim or if a roadworthy spare is not available. On a Scooter or Motorcycle this normally means a tow situation which the operator will organise.
	Emergency Fuel We will deliver sufficient fuel to enable the vehicle to travel to the nearest refuelling station. The cost of fuel will be at the driver/member’s expense payable at the time of service. If we are unable to supply fuel we will provide a tow in accordance with the Member’s Benefit entitlements to a suitable location.
	Towing - Breakdown Related Only If the vehicle is immobilised or is not safe to drive the vehicle will be transported to the nearest Preferred Repairer or Authorised Repairer. This service will be provided for free subject to the following limitations: Free Towing - Metropolitan Areas - up to 20 kilometres Free Towing - Country Areas - up to 50 kilometres - Minor Mechanical repairs.

One call to National Warranty on 03 517 4000  or  03 517 60111  will administrate your Manhattan Signature Warranty (please refer to warranty book for terms & conditions).

Your warranty will be valid providing:

• Your scooter has been put into initial service by one of our authorised distributors.
• Your scooter has been properly maintained during the period of use by the customer. 
• That only the recommended fuels and oils and lubricants are use in the scooters. 
• That the scooter be properly maintained and used on bitumen roads. 
• The scooter has been properly run in and due care taken not to exceed recommended engine revs during the running in period. 
• The owner provides proof of purchase.

Exclusions: Consumables Parts damaged through incorrect use or other abuse such as using the vehicle for purposes for which it was not intended. Damage due to over loading Work or modifications carried out by others than an authorised distributors. Damage caused through misuse and road accidents.
